About Linda

Linda is a Senior Associate in our Health Law team.

She has extensive experience across all areas of health law, including medical negligence and health regulatory matters. Linda is highly experienced in litigation and has also worked on many coronial inquests and inquiries as solicitor briefing Counsel, assisting the Coroner in cases involving unexplained deaths and deaths involving medical issues.

Linda also has experience working as a solicitor at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office in the areas of guardianship, health regulatory issues and discrimination.

Before gaining her legal qualifications from the University of New South Wales, Linda worked as a nurse and midwife in NSW and Queensland hospitals for 17 years. She has a strong understanding of both the health and legal systems.

Her midwifery experience is particularly invaluable when assisting women whose medical negligence claims have arisen in areas such as birth trauma and gynaecological procedures.
