Erin Woodward is a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in personal injury law.
Erin spent 16 years at a well-established regional firm where she practised exclusively in personal injury matters – motor accident claims, workers’ compensation, public liability and medical negligence matters.
For the past few years, Erin handled all of the firm’s medical negligence matters. She has broad experience in medical negligence matters including those involving treatment leading to catastrophic injury, obstetric mismanagement leading to birth injury and maternal trauma, misdiagnosis of cancer treatment, cosmetic surgery and post surgical complications.
Erin became a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in personal injury law in an abbreviated time period owing to her many years experience working as a personal injury solicitor.
Erin joined the health and medical law team at Catherine Henry Lawyers in 2019 to focus exclusively in this highly specialised area of personal injury practice.
“I take great pride in being able to make the legal process accessible by explaining the law and claims process in plain English. Many people find it daunting to even contact a solicitor, let alone proceed along the path of starting legal proceedings. I believe that a solicitor practising in the very sensitive area of medical and health litigation needs to possess the following skills and I aim to exhibit these traits in all my client communications each day – a clear communicator, compassionate and caring, resourceful, driven and hardworking.”
