We’re here to help

The Fresh Start Plan can help you move forward.

If you have separated, one of the issues which you will need to resolve is the division of your property.

This can seem a very daunting task.

We can help you with our Fresh Start Plan.

What is the Fresh Start Plan?

It involves:

  • A fixed fee payable at the time of the meeting. No hidden extras.
  • A meeting with one of our family lawyers for up to 2 hours.
  • After the meeting you will receive a detailed written report. The report will:
    • Set out the important information that you have given us
    • Provide advice as to the likely outcome in your property settlement
    • Set out a suggested way to progress your case
    • Provide advice on all other family law issues in addition to property settlement
    • Provide an estimate of future legal costs

After you consider our report you can decide what you want to do, including how you want us to help you.

What documentation will I need to bring?

  • Any appraisals/valuations that you have of your home and any other real estate
  • Appraisals of the cars (e.g. go to redbook.com.au)
  • Up to date super statements
  • Documents showing current shareholding (e.g. last dividend statement)
  • Statement showing up to date bank balances (including the mortgage)
  • If you have a business… bring Financial Statements relating to the business

But, if you don’t have the documents, don’t delay. Still come in and we can sort out documents at a later date.
